Frequently Asked Questions

The following are answers to frequently asked questions. For more information, or to get answers to a question you don't see here, you can chat with an Idaho E&T representative or contact our CMSL at 844.977.1600. We are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

+ What does having a sanction mean?

A sanction means that your portion of the household benefits will be removed because you are not participating or have not enrolled in the job search program.


+ How do I remove the sanction to regain compliance?

Once your penalty period is over, you will need to contact DHW to redetermine your eligibility. If you are referred back to MAXIMUS, your first step in regaining compliance will be to enroll with our program. If your sanction has not yet taken place and you are working with a career coach, please contact your career coach to see what steps are needed to get back on track.


+ I have employment so why was I referred?

DHW refers customers to our program who are not working at least 30 hours per week at minimum wage, or who are not earning $217.50 per week or $870 per month before taxes and deductions.


+ If I am unable to work how do I become exempted from participating in your program?

If you are unable to work, you must provide verification to DHW so that they can redetermine your exemption from our program. Please remember that until an exemption is granted, you will still be required to enroll with us to avoid any negative action from taking place on your benefits.


+ I have applied for UIB/SSD. Why was I referred?

If you have applied for SSD/UIB, you must provide verification to DHW so that they can redetermine your exemption from our program. Please remember that until an exemption is granted, you will still be required to enroll with us to avoid any negative action from taking place on your benefits.


+ How do I access MPloy?

Once your enrollment in our program is complete, your career coach will register you for an MPloy account. You will receive an email from SnagPad.com providing you with your login information once this has been done. If you have not received your login information, please do not try to create an account yourself. Contact your career coach to have your account created for you.


+ Why haven’t my TAFI funds released yet?

Once compliance is met, your career coach will provide you with information on when you can expect release of your TAFI benefits.


+ Why hasn’t my sanction been removed yet?

Please contact your career coach directly for clarification. If further assistance is needed, you may also call our CMSL Line at 844.977.1600.


+ What do I need to do to get into compliance to get my benefits back?
